I’m a beer lover. Sadly, Southeast Asia lacks decent beer, meaning most of the beer here is terrible (with one notable exception). Whenever I’m in the mood for a good brew, I have to go with the imported stuff. Prior to living here, I’d only tried Hoegaarden once or twice and was generally indifferent toward it. Now it has become my go-to brew, partly because it’s surprisingly easy to find but mostly because it’s delicious.
